I had a big cock rouch in my room
The location to everything we wanted to do was nice. The maids were freindly. The manager never smiled or greeted anyone.
I choose Dunes Sunset instead of Winsor because it advertised a lounge & resturant. The lounge was only open on time while we there on Friday afternoon and closed before 7 pm. Saturday on Sunset and it was closed??? I also was interested in the room service provided by the resturant below our room. I never saw that place open once. The manager never smiled or greeted anyone.
Great location, close to Hollywood Bvd, nice & big rooms.
The price for being so fairly close to the interesting areas.
The reception, the feeling of a place with problems with criminality.
Booked.net booked a room that was no longer available. The hotel staff called immediately and apologized profusely for the confusion. I ended up booking a single room instead and that transaction went smoothly. The staff allowed us to park three cars in the lot, even though it was getting full. Huge Thanks. The hotel is kinda run-down and threadbare, but what can you expect for the location and price. The room was clean (enough) for a night on the town in Hollywood.
Bathroom kinda small.
Too much noise in and around the room made it impossible to sleep in in the morning.
this place is great to say at, its closes to subways buses shops the rooms are clean and the tv is good as well, my son loved this place. You have to look past all the beggars as there very were in LA we felt safe walking the streets at all hours of the day and night even at 3am in the morning
the olny thing the Dunes Inn needs to to put a small microwave in each room, then they would be great,
They could not find our Booked.net reservation so we had to pay $50 more. First offered room had a strong smoking smell. Place is very very noisy. Patchy wifi connection, better to say there is no wifi. Needed to change room key everyday. No glasses, no coffe-machine, no place to get hot water.
The staff on the front office were really effective. The location is good.
The room was small for two beds. The price is a little expensive for a simple hotel.
It was off the beaten path and perfect for the entertainers that I booked the room for. They were able to perform and go back to the hotel to get badly needed rest. They need rest. Your holtel is situated in a part of Los Angeles that enabled them to enjoy there stay.
room is too small! by the way the airconditioner is too much noisy!
It really needs improvement in comparison to other hotelsl/motels. No hair dryer, no mattress covers under the flat sheet (no fitted sheets), no coffee maker. The mattress needs to be protected and fitted sheets have to be bought. The man at the reception was very unfriendly.
old and shabby stunk of smoke no fridge or coffee making restraunt not open and it was too small.
We went to a concert at the Hollywood Palladium and it was within walking distance.
When arriving the front desk staff was rude and told us check in wasn't until 1pm when it clearly said it was 12pm on their site. Then after we sat in the lobby for almost an hour they finally have us our room key. We asked for smoking and didn't get it. The bathroom was gross, but you get what you pay for.
The fat guy on evening duty at reception was very rude ,the owner on the morning shift was a nice guy ,the breakfast was very good & the waitress was very nice .wifi was very bad .
